The General Fractional Integrals and Derivatives on a Finite Interval

نویسندگان

چکیده

The general fractional integrals and derivatives considered so far in the Fractional Calculus literature have been defined for functions on real positive semi-axis. main contribution of this paper is introducing a finite interval. As case Riemann–Liouville interval, we define both left- right-sided operators investigate their interconnections. results presented are 1st 2nd fundamental theorems formulated interval as well formulas integration by parts that involve derivatives.

Fractional Derivatives, Fractional Integrals, and Fractional Differential Equations in Matlab

The term fractional calculus is more than 300 years old. It is a generalization of the ordinary differentiation and integration to non-integer (arbitrary) order. The subject is as old as the calculus of differentiation and goes back to times when Leibniz, Gauss, and Newton invented this kind of calculation. In a letter to L’Hospital in 1695 Leibniz raised the following question (Miller and Ross...

Calculus of variations with fractional derivatives and fractional integrals

We prove Euler-Lagrange fractional equations and sufficient optimality conditions for problems of the calculus of variations with functionals containing both fractional derivatives and fractional integrals in the sense of Riemann-Liouville.

Hardy Inequalities for Fractional Integrals on General Domains

We prove a sharp Hardy inequality for fractional integrals for functions that are supported on a general domain. The constant is the same as the one for the half-space and hence our result settles a recent conjecture of Bogdan and Dyda [2].

Model-Driven Applications of Fractional Derivatives and Integrals

Fractional order derivatives and integrals (differintegrals) are viewed from a frequency-domain perspective using the formalism of Riesz, providing a computational tool as well as a way to interpret the operations in the frequency domain. Differintegrals provide a logical extension of current techniques, generalizing the notion of integral and differential operators and acting as kind of freque...
